Imagine that you are being held at gun point the only escape is that you have to beat your assaulter at a game of the classic rock, paper and scissors.
(Note this situation is a “bit” extreme but do bear with me!)
If you only have one shot of winning the game there might just be sure-shot way of winning the game.
The trick here is to make your would be murderer guilty or conscious about anything( I wonder what?). Keep in mind what you say to him should be as specific as possible.
For example you might tell him something emotional such as:
“Is this what your parents would have wanted you to do?” or “Think about if the same thing happens to your children” chances are that if he is has a bit of humanity left inside him his sub conscious mind will register these comments even though he might not even understand what you are saying.
A statement like this activates the “defence/security” regions of the brain which in turn will try to defend itself. This line of defence initiated by the brain will be in the form of “Scissors” and all you need to do is bring out “Rocks” thus defeating him and probably ensuring your victory.
Although if you are being held by a serial killer I don’t believe that he will give you choice for a game.
For those who don’t know the game of rock, paper and scissors is a classic in which two people play and they have to use their fists to make the said objects.
A clenched fist indicates rocks, the index and central finger when extended indicates scissors, and a relaxed palm indicates paper.
Rock beat scissors, scissors beats paper and paper beats rock, thus competing the cycle.
